CleanWins Reality Check Notifications: A Practical Guide
Online gaming is designed to be engaging, but it’s crucial to maintain a healthy perspective on time and money spent. This is where reality checks come in. At platforms like CleanWins, these notifications are a vital player protection tool. This guide explains everything you need to know about CleanWins reality check feature—what it is, how to use it, and how it contributes to a safer gaming environment. We’ll cut through the noise and give you the actionable information you need.
What Are Reality Check Notifications?
A reality check is an automated notification that pops up on your screen during a gaming session. It’s not a warning or a penalty; it’s a simple, neutral reminder of how long you’ve been playing. The primary goal is to break the continuous flow of the game, encouraging you to take a moment to consciously decide whether to continue or take a break. This feature is a cornerstone of responsible gambling tools offered by modern operators, including CleanWins casino. It helps you stay in control and keep your entertainment in a healthy balance with the rest of your life.
How to Activate and Customize Your Alerts
Setting up reality checks is a straightforward process. Here are the typical steps you would follow on the cleanwins platform:
- Log into your player account.
- Navigate to the “Responsible Gaming” or “Settings” section of your account dashboard.
- Locate the “Reality Check” or “Session Reminder” option.
- Select your preferred time interval. Common options range from 10 minutes to 2 hours.
- Confirm and save your settings.
Once activated, a discreet but visible pop-up will appear at your chosen intervals. It will display a message like, “You have been playing for 45 minutes.” You will then have the option to either acknowledge the alert and continue playing or log out immediately.
What Information Does the Notification Show?
The notification is intentionally simple to avoid being intrusive. It typically contains basic but essential information to prompt self-reflection. You can expect to see:
- Your total active session duration.
- A reminder of your deposit amount for the session (if applicable).
- Clear buttons to either “Continue Playing” or “Log Out.”
It’s important to note that the reality check does not display your current wins or losses. The focus is solely on time awareness, separating it from financial performance and encouraging a break based on duration, not outcome.

Consider setting deposit limits to control your spending over daily, weekly, or monthly periods. You can also use loss limits and self-exclusion options for more stringent control.
